                            Visit to Innovative Schools

Date:22.02.2019-28.02.2019
        During this session the we were split into different groups and were asked to visit three schools for each group. This helped us to learn the different teaching techniques and methods that are useful for us in our future.

Name of the school:  Kamlavathi Hr. Sec. School, Sahupuram.
.
                         We visited this school in the first two days of our school visit. This school has a good infrastructure facilities. They made the maximum use of the new technologies for teaching. 
Name of the school: St.Joseph Convent Matriculation school ,
                                   VerapandiyanPatinam .

                        We visited this school on 25.02.2019 and 26.02.2019. In this school they followed demonstration method for teaching maths and science. We had a quality time in that school.

Name of the school: Pearl's Public school , Muthugarden.
                       
                                  New technologies are available for teaching. The school has huge playground and classrooms.

                                     Pongal Day Celebration
                           Pongal day was celebrated in our college by making sweets and conducting exciting games.That day was fun filled and we all participated in the games.

Usage of function:

                              Debate was conducted on the topic"Social welfare gets improved by elders or youngsters".Student teacher's including faculty members participated in debate.This helped to gain more and more points regarding the topic and was very interesting.

On those days our college conducted half yearly examination for all 7 subjects.In this we all completed three-fourth of the portions all secured better results.

Camp Day 1

                    This day was fully handled by the green house among student teacher's.

Function: Inaugral Function

Usage of function:
                                The first day of the camp was started with the enthusiastic words of the chief guest. He explained the camp procedure and its importance for the future teachers.

                    This day was fully handled by blue house and started with the flag hoist.

Usage of function: 
                                 The chief guest presented a power point that explained many first aid methods. He also gave a practical demonstration which was so useful in emergency situation.

Usage of function:
                                   Our music and dance instructor sung various songs for us and she told us about the recent trends in day-to-day life.This session was very  interesting and the auditorium was filled with claps and joy.

Usage of function:
                                The morning session was handled by Dr.T.Uma. Here our student teachers did a word war on the topic Is Natural Resources Protected or Destructed?

                                    "Green Revolution"
                In the next session all of the camp members were asked to make our surroundings clean by watering the plants,picking up the plastics in and around the campus.

Usage of function: 
                                In this session our chief guest explained the disaster management process.This was very much helpful for all of us.

Usage of function:
                                The chief guest gave his precious time in presenting the history of AIDS and its symptoms. This was very much valuable.The day ended with flag lowering.

Camp Day 4

                    This day was fully handled by rose house and started with flag hoisting. Camp members were divided into two groups and we went to the near by factory DCW. We had a new experience and learnt a lot of information.

Function:Socially Useful Productive Work

Usage of function:
                                 Chief Guest of that session taught us about the techniques of drawings and paintings. He also taught us to make some flowers with thread and paper.This session was much interesting and useful for all of us.

                    This day was fully handled by violet house and started with flag hoisting.

                                This session was the most memorable and interesting part of the camp. The chief guest was enthusiastic and made us sing, dance and feel like the kids.

Usage of function:

Usage of function:
                                    The chief guest made a talk on the history of Jesus Christ. December is the month of love, humanity and gifts giving events. On this day we received gifts from our santaclause and the day was full of joy and pleasure.

                             In this session to execute something about dengue fever,Mrs.S.Kalai Kuruselvi was asked to attend the meeting as Chief Guest.She explained how the dengue fever spreads and tells the difference between HIV and AIDS.It is a very valuable session for all of the student teacher's.

In those days our college conducted quarterly examination for all 7subjects.From this we all learnt one-third of the portions and secured good results in all the subjects.
